Consignment

Consigning eliminates the phone calls, emails, inspections, shipping and paperwork that come with a private sale — and it usually nets more than trading in or selling wholesale. This is what we do for a living.

Send us the car's details and we check eligibility for consignment.
Bring it in
Once approved, we schedule a time for the vehicle to arrive at the consignment center.

We show you what comparable cars — same year, similar mileage — are actually achieving, so you price it with clear eyes.
List it
Detailing if needed, around 50 photographs, a thorough written description, then live on our site, CarGurus, Autotrader, Carsforsale and the rest.
Get paid
You get your money on sale. We handle the calls, the tyre-kickers, the shipping and the paperwork.

Inspections
Know before you buy.
A high-end car is a big investment. Our certified mechanics do three kinds of inspection — and we'd rather tell you the truth about a car than sell you one.
Pre-purchase (PPI)
A detailed assessment of cosmetic, mechanical and safety condition before you complete the purchase. Call for details and scheduling.
Track inspection
For high-performance cars headed to the track — making sure the car is in condition for high-speed driving.
NC State inspection
Annual safety inspection, required before registration renewal, and conducted no more than 90 days before the plate expires.
A licensed mechanic examines headlights, accessory lights, directional signals, foot brake, parking brake, steering, tires, horn, rearview mirror, windshield wipers, exhaust system, emission control components, and tinted windows where applicable.
Vehicles registered in 22 North Carolina counties must also pass an emissions inspection, conducted at the same time as the safety inspection. A vehicle registered in NC must pass its annual safety inspection before the owner can renew registration, and failure to inspect by the due date affects the vehicle's registration.
